Certified Medication Aide
Summary
Be able to administer oral and external medications to residents under the direction and supervision of a registered nurse or a licensed practical / vocational nurse.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Prepares and administers medications to residents following established procedures.
- Verifies identity of resident receiving medication and records name of drug, dosage, and time of administration on specified forms or records.
- Clarifies any order or treatment regimen believed to be inaccurate, ineffective or contraindicated by consulting with appropriate licensed practitioner. You will be required to notify supervisor when making the decision not to administer.
- Takes and records vital signs upon administration of medications when required. • Orders and re-orders medications and returns all discharge medications for credit in compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Maintains neat, clean, and orderly medication room and cart. Takes appropriate precautions to make sure residents / patient do not have access to medications other than those prescribed.
- Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements
Certified Medication Aide 40 Hour Course Required
Qualifications
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent, or experience as required by state regulations.
- Successful completion of a state approved course and is approved to administer oral and external medication.

Certified Nursing Assistant CNA
Job Description CNA – Summary Provides services and care for residents and patients.
- Provides personal care and services such as:
- a) Assisting with activities of daily living (turning and positioning, toileting, bathing and grooming, feeding, and mobility)
- b) Obtains and records vital signs and weight as assigned.
- c) Accurately documents all care as required by company policy and in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Provides non-resident services such as, but not limited to, washing wheelchairs and cleaning resident / patient areas in compliance with infection control procedures.
- Contributes to the resident assessment and care plan.
- Makes routine rounds on each assigned resident and patient in accordance with established procedures. • Promptly communicates any significant changes in behavior or condition to supervisor.
- Completes required forms and documents in accordance with company policy and state and/or federal regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

Lead Housekeeper
Overview:
Esprit Whispering Ridge is seeking a Lead Housekeeper to join its team. Esprit Whispering Ridge consists of 48 assisted living rental apartment homes, as well as 38 additional residences for seniors requiring memory care services and is located in Omaha, Nebraska. Esprit creates a home for older adults and our employees are dedicated to empowering our customers to lead richer fuller lives.
Responsibilities:
- Effectively complete housekeeping duties and supervise the housekeeping staff in the absence of the Maintenance Director in ways that ensure clean rooms in a hospitable environment
- Monitor, verify and document the inspection of rooms to ensure all standards are met.
- Successfully manage the daily schedule, prioritization, and assignment of housekeeping duties in the absence of the Maintenance Director.
- Provide direction and coaching to staff including the orientation of new staff.
- Maintain all inventories and ensure linen closets are maintained as appropriate including making sure that all carts are stored properly and closets are locked
- Sweep, vacuum, dust, wash, wax, scour and sanitize area as assigned in accordance with facility policy; must move furniture and equipment as necessary to clean.
- Ensure housekeeping supplies are stocked and refill products when needed.
- Willing to help with special events, fill in to accommodate emergency situations.
- Provide superior customer service to other departments.
- Demonstrates a high level of respect and a cooperative attitude with co-workers.

- Clean common areas as scheduled; must move furniture and equipment as necessary to clean.
- Clean public restrooms daily.
- Clean designated apartments weekly as directed.
- Deep clean all vacated apartments after completed maintenance inspection and repairs
- Respond to requests from residents and staff promptly and efficiently.
- Empty trash containers on a regularly scheduled basis and as needed
- Ensure housekeeping supplies are stocked and refill products when needed. Report any supply needs to supervisor.
- Demonstrates a high level of respect and a cooperative attitude with co-workers.
